What we collect
- Account info. Your email address and a password. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read them.
- Your images. The pictures you upload, plus basic details like file name, size, and the folder you put them in.
- Usage data. Basic logs such as your IP address, browser type, and the times you upload or sign in. This helps us keep the service running and safe.
- Payment info. If you buy a paid plan, PayPal handles the payment. We receive a confirmation that you paid, but we never see or store your card or bank details.
- Cookies. We use small cookies to keep you logged in and to remember basic settings. We do not use them to track you around the web.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account.
- To store your images and serve the links you share.
- To process payments and manage your plan.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To answer your questions when you contact us.
Your images and your links
Your library is private. Only you can browse it. When you create a direct link to an image, anyone who has that link can view that one image. They cannot see the rest of your account. If you want an image to stay private, do not share its link.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the companies that help us run picsxyz:
- Railway — hosts our app and stores your data.
- PayPal — processes payments.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users.
How long we keep your data
We keep your images and account data for as long as your account is open. You can delete images at any time, and you can delete your whole account. When you delete something, we remove it from active storage. Backups may take a short time to clear.
Security
We protect your data with reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your data safe and to fix problems quickly.
Your choices
- You can view and update your account details at any time.
- You can delete your images or your account.
- You can ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us.
Children
picsxyz is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us data, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make an important change, we will update the date at the top and, where needed, let you know.
